“Form” is an eleven minute ode to John John’s home break and the most famous surf spot in history. For all the world titles and unimpeachable credibility at home on the North Shore’s proving grounds, is it possible that John John’s legacy might be as one of surfing’s greatest storytellers? Whether it’s “View from a Blue Moon” or last year’s “Maps of Home”, Florence keeps raising the bar with his cinematic output.
