Greetings, Shredderz! Here’s an awesome vintage Rick Surfboards ad I found on Pinterest. I’m guessing the ad is probably from the late 60s, maybe early 70s, but the tone and references to the rapidly changing world of surfboard design certainly point to the Transition Era. And as corny as it might be, I love the ad’s message of individuality and discovery: “Now I find myself really doing my own thing — uninhibited by the pressures and idiosyncrasies of the modern pseudo-surf scene — in total harmony with the flow of nature’s energy.” Amen to that!
