Greetings, Shredderz! Mollusk Surf Shop just released a new promo video for the MPE Spitfire, a board developed in conjunction with longtime displacement hull aficionado Kirk Putnam. I really love videos that break down board design in-depth, and here Putnam can be seen explaining to Jamie Brisick the MPE’s various design elements, and how this design has evolved over the decades. I’m probably burying the lede here, but the video also features Ari Browne drawing some beautiful lines on the MPE and putting those various design concepts in action.
