Greetings, Shredderz! I look forward to delivery of every single Surfer’s Journal issue. And while they remain the clear standard in print media, it’s rad to see TSJ branch out with some excellent digital content, too. I haven’t yet had the chance to listen to “Soundings”, their podcast series hosted by writer Jamie Brisick, but they’ve certainly put together a top notch list of guests.

On the video front I really enjoyed this mini profile on Asher Pacey, which complements a written feature in issue 32.2. I’ve always loved Pacey’s surfing, and this video has plenty of twin fin pyrotechnics, as you’d expect. I was surprised at how much I loved the footage of Pacey’s lifestyle out of the water — if this movie doesn’t make you want to move to Australia and hang out at a farm surrounded by nature, then I don’t know what will.
