Greetings, Shredderz! This might be sacrilegious, but I’m not the biggest Miki Dora fan. He’s celebrated for being an anti-hero, but a lot of the stories about him paint a picture of someone who’s probably easier to admire from afar.

Regardless of how you feel about Dora, his influence cannot be denied. We’re all familiar with the Greg Noll Miki Dora “Da Cat” Model and the eye popping prices for examples sold at auction, but the board had some amazing ads, too. The example below is a straight up classic. The graphic design immediately grabs your attention, but the copy is incredible, and vintage Dora, too: a compelling mix of swagger, paranoia and contempt for the establishment. Dora’s been accused of a lot of things over the years, but being boring definitely isn’t one of them.
